If so, what type should you get? DSLR? Mirrorless? Superzoom? Compact (Point-and-Shoot)?
And what brand: Canon? Nikon? Sony? Fuji? Olympus? Kodak? Other?
The choices are endless. And cameras are expensive. The last thing you want to do is to spend several hundred dollars on a camera and then find out it’s not suited for the kind of pictures you want to take.
The purpose of this guide, therefore, is to provide a systematic and quantitative process of selecting the very best camera for your personal needs so that you don’t make a mistake.
On a recent RV trip to Pennsylvania, we found ourselves in a Laundromat doing our laundry. Up on the wall was a sign with directions for removing eleven kinds of stains. I took a picture of the sign for future reference, never realizing how soon we would need those tips.
A few days later, my wife got some black grease on a pair of white pants. I immediately dug out the picture on my phone, found the tip for removing grease and oil stains (Tip #6 below), did what it said, and ta-da, the stain was completely gone. Not a trace of grease remained. AMAZING!
Ditto for a tomato sauce stain on a Tee shirt. I went immediately to Tip #10 and presto, the stain was gone.
These tips work and are now our go-to guide whenever we encounter any kind of clothing stain.
“One of the most important things that I have learned in my 57 years is that life is all about choices. On every journey you take, you face choices. At every fork in the road, you make a choice. And it is those decisions that shape our lives.” _Mike DeWine
Let’s face it. Decisions are important. And decisions are tough.
When we boil it all down, the quality, trajectory, and destination of our lives are largely the result of the decisions we make. As noted in the quote above, decisions shape our lives.
Think about all of the big life decisions each one of us has
to make and the impact they have on our lives.
Decisions such as:
Think of the All-American man or woman who has it all: A great career, wonderful family, good friends, active social life, growing bank account, time for family, inner peace and joy, and total confidence. That’s the type of life you want to build.
But how do you do that? How can anyone be successful in all areas of their life? How can anyone have everything under control?
If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything __Unknown
Do you know who you are? What you stand for? What your purpose is here on earth? Where you are going in life? What it will take for you to consider your life successful?
If you want to live the life of your dreams, then you must know the answers to these questions.
One of the major differences between successful and unsuccessful people is that successful people know exactly who they are and where they are going in life. There is no doubt. There is no wavering.
To bring clarity and purpose to your life, it is crucial that you develop a Personal Mission Statement and that you then live by that statement every day of your life.
“It Works: The Famous Little Red Book That Makes Your Dreams Come True”
About the Author:
● This book was originally published anonymously in 1926, with the author requesting that his name not be divulged. However, it was later determined that the author was actually Roy Herbert Jarrett, a Chicago salesman and advertising man who was known for his generosity and helpful spirit.
● Mr. Jarrett attributes his success in “mastering circumstances, accumulating wealth, and winning friends” to the system he describes in this book
● The author wanted to give back, so he has shared his system with the world in this short little book
Do you seek more happiness in your life? Joy? Fulfillment? Success? Satisfaction?
If you seek these things, then living a more virtuous life could be just the answer for you.
But what exactly are virtues and which ones are most important? And how do virtues help us to live a better life?
The dictionary defines virtue as “a quality considered morally good or desirable in a person.”
A better definition is: “A virtue is a trait of character that enables a person to flourish.”
Virtues keep us balanced. They prevent the excesses and deficiencies that can lead to regret or guilt. Research has shown that guilt is one of the most devastating emotions a person can have. Guilt has destroyed many lives. And the fewer regrets we have, the better. We all intrinsically know that.
By being balanced, we are able to better enjoy every aspect of life and to be better friends, spouses, parents, employees, and bosses.
Virtues help us to get along better with people and to build better relationships. They help us to avoid many of the pitfalls of life. They keep us from sabotaging our own success.
Virtues help us to keep our lives moving forward and upward.
Virtues definitely aren’t something that most of us often think about but they can be life changing.
● This book is really about the Law of Attraction, although the author doesn’t mention the Law of Attraction. The author, however, does mention that the Strangest Secret is based on a natural law that never fails, just like the law of gravity never fails.
● Implementing The Strangest Secret to create the life you want involves performing three simple steps:
o Step 1: Write down your goal and think about it in the morning when you get up, just before going to bed at night and several times during the day
o Step 2: Stop thinking about your fears regarding accomplishing your goal. Act as though it were impossible to fail.
o Step 3: Focus on providing superb service to others. “Success is in direct proportion to our service.”
● The author provides a 30-day plan to implement The Strangest Secret in your life
“The shortest route to success in any field of endeavor, and life in general, is to seek the company of those who have more wisdom than you.” _Robert Ringer
David Kekich was an active 30-something passionate about exercise. He lifted weights. He ran long distances. He exercised all the time. He loved life.
Then, on July 7, 1978, while working out in the gym, something went terribly wrong and he incurred a crippling spinal cord injury. He never again regained movement below his arms.
He spent the next 15 months circling the globe looking for a cure. But none was found.
Instead of feeling sorry for himself, David relentlessly pushed forward with his life.
He spent 19 years raising money for paralysis research, never losing hope that he would one day walk again.
He also co-founded a national financial services company and Exceptional Producers, Inc., a master general life insurance agency.
David is currently working on reversing aging through his Maximum Life Foundation.
In spite of his handicap, David learned how to be successful and he has summarized what he has learned in 100 credos.
A credo is defined as a “creed or formula of belief.”
Thus, David Kekich’s 100 credos represent his formula for living a successful life no matter what your situation.
Botanists will tell you to have a vision for how you want a plant to look before you start pruning it. The same is true for your life and your business.
Whether you’re talking about programs, processes, personal commitments, or even people – over time, they all tend to accumulate. You simply end up with more of everything. However, overgrowth impedes your ability to scale yourself and your business. In order to grow, you’re going to have to prune.

Anywhere you find a group of people, you’ll find a culture. That’s true for families, churches, cities, neighborhoods, and anything else you can think of that includes more than one person.
